"How am I doing?" Feedback as a Mirror of Learning
Presenter: Jan Chappuis, VP of Assessment Training Institute

Description: We know that feedback plays a crucial role in bringing about learning gains. However it isn't the giving of feedback that causes the gains; it is the acting on feedback that determines how much the student learns. Effective feedback helps students see what they know and what they need to keep working on. In addition, it models for students the kind of thinking we want them to engage in when they self-assess and set goals for further learning.
